Specifix Joins The Custom Linux Fray
Specifix, a new company started by ex-redhat execs, has a repository-based system for building custom Linux distributions called Conary. The technology sounds novel, and arguably difficult to get right, but that's probably true of all the component approaches to custom Linux, such as Progeny Componentized Linux, or our Cobind DiY Linux Tools.Posted at: 23:58 | permalink
